To Luján de Cuyo, welcome to Altos del Cóndor.

The Malbec is the flagship grape of Argentina and Luján de Cuyo is well recognized for being the Appellation where it achieves its best development. The Malbec has arrived to this region more than a century ago. The Malbec, a variety forgotten in France -Country of Origin- found out its space in the world, the Mendoza’s River Highlands region, and is here (in this D.O.), where are we find the best expressions for this variety.

These grapes have grown in this zone for over a century. The ancient soil, of volcanic origin, sandy, highly permeable and with plenty of rocks, combining the fresh and consequent breezes which blow during sunset, makes this region a really and unique Terroir. If there is a secret in the way we produce our wine, is just that: The Terroir.
